About Risa
By profession, I am a memory loss educator as well as an author. Every day I work on the front lines, experimenting and
testing every principal I teach. If something doesn't work, I toss it aside and look for something that will work. I cannot
afford to waste time on useless approaches and I'm sure neither can you!
For the past ten years, I've worked as a caregiver in a variety of settings: Nursing homes, Assisted living and
Adult Day Care.
My passion for Huntington's Disease began when I was approached by a family looking for a safe place for their
18 yr old daughter with Juvenile Huntington's Disease. She needed Adult Day Care but was far younger than my other clients.
Thus my passion to educate caregivers in search of information about Huntington's Disease began!
I am the author of Alzheimer's Tips Revealed: A Guide To Becoming A Successful Care Giver In The 21st
Century! (see insert). As a journalist I write articles every day and began writing this column, "Insider
Tips", in hopes that they can be of help to caregivers with a loved one with a memory loss such as Huntington's
Disease.
My life is devoted to educating and inspiring caregivers throughout the world!
Sincerely
Risa Levovsky
